The vacuum pump is the core component of a vacuum packaging machine. This article provides solutions for troubleshooting vacuum pump malfunctions, along with some basic knowledge on replacing parts for Ruizhi vacuum sealing machines.
1. Vacuum pump on the packaging machine is not working. The travel switch is not engaged; please close the lid. Adjust the screw position or the pressure rod to adjust the travel switch. For electric lid opening models, please adjust the pull rod.
If it is a relay control panel, the vacuum pump time relay may be damaged; if it is a computer control, the computer board is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the vacuum pump motor is damaged, generally the manufacturer will provide a warranty (for regular manufacturers), so it can be replaced or repaired.
2. The vacuum chamber of the vacuum packaging machine cannot reach the required vacuum.
Reason 1: The vacuum pump is worn or damaged and cannot reach the required vacuum.
Reason 2: Loose air pipe connections, broken pipes, damaged vacuum chamber seals, damaged solenoid valves, etc., causing air to enter the vacuum chamber.
Reason 3: Insufficient vacuum pump oil. Reason 4: Insufficient vacuum time.
3. The vacuum chamber of the vacuum packaging machine cannot be opened.
The exhaust solenoid valve did not open after the work cycle. For fully automatic equipment, such as rolling vacuum packaging machines and electric lid-opening models, the lid-opening motor may be damaged, or the pull rod may be stuck.
4. Residual air in the vacuum-packed product bag. The sealing strip is not properly reset, causing the bag mouth to be pressed during vacuuming, resulting in premature sealing and preventing the air from being removed from the bag. The sealing pressure bar of the packaging machine is inflexible, pressing the bag mouth and preventing air from being removed.
5. Abnormal noise, tripping, black smoke from the exhaust port, and oil dripping during operation.
Possible cause 1: The pump motor fan is scraping and making noise, requiring repair.
Possible cause 2: The intake is blocked, and there are foreign objects inside the pump.
Possible cause 3: Insufficient vacuum pump oil, or non-standard oil is used.
Possible cause 4: The pump has been running for a long time, causing it to overheat, or running at high temperatures, so please keep the machine ventilated.
Possible cause 5: Long-term use has caused aging of the vacuum pump motor and vacuum pump solenoid valve, leading to decreased insulation performance, etc. Please replace the parts or contact the manufacturer.
